— Why is it that you only have this photographic niche that focuses primarily on Corporate Events & Corporate Head Shots & Step & Repeat?
I have captured more than 125 corporate events, and this number is increasing rapidly. As a result, I have created a dedicated website exclusively for this genre to make it easier, more organized, and seamless for any potential client searching for corporate event photography.
— How long have you been in business?
Proudly over 20 years.
— Do you have business insurance?
Yes, business liability insurance is a must for any photographer. First It is rarety that the policy is ever needed, but it is in your best interest to know that you're covered, there is a good deal of complexity involved in such a policy, and its coverage, but yes, every photographer needs to have it in place. and it will be sent to each hotel or venue via email (and I'll cc you on the email).
— Are you a registered business in The State Of South Carolina?
As with any business, a photographer must be registered with the State of South Carolina (Retail License) and the federal government (a federal ID #). This ensures that you, as a client, are working with a legitimate business. If you need proof of registration, I'm happy to provide you with the Retail License and federal ID# upon request. It's also important to note that there are four jurisdictions in the Charleston, SC area (City of Isle of Palms, City of Charleston, Town of Mount Pleasant, and North Charleston), and a valid business license is required for each. Be sure to ask your photographer for a copy of their license, as many hotels and venues require it before your event. It's better to be safe than sorry, as you never know who might enforce the ordinance that day.
— What kind of photography & videography equipment do you use?
Check out my equipment page.
— Can we meet at the venue hotel or the location where is it taken place?
I would be more than willing to schedule a walkthrough or consultation before the event to ensure we have all the logistical details sorted out. If you are renting a photo booth, we can discuss its optimal placement and any special requests you may have.
— What methods Do you use for data backup?
To safeguard your data, it's essential to save and download it, as well as create multiple backups. It's advisable to keep one of these backups in a secure deposit box and refrain from storing all your data in one location.
— Why pay more for your services than other professional photographers?
Are you looking for a professional? In light of the COVID pandemic, only a few remain in business. Do they meet the necessary credentials? Cost may be a deciding factor if you're a corporate company seeking to hire a true professional. However, in the words of John Ruskin, "It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought could not do what it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, having enough to pay for something better is good."
— Where Do You Shoot Corporate Headshots?
We understand that our corporate clients prefer to have their business headshots taken in their offices to avoid disrupting their workday. To accommodate this, we bring our studio lights and backdrop to your location. This approach ensures consistency in the look and feel of your headshots. There is no additional transportation fee if your office is located within the Charleston area. However, if your office is located beyond 25 miles from our King Street location, there is a $200 travel fee. Alternatively, you can visit our professional studio at 310 King Street, Suite B, Charleston, SC 29401.
— Step & Repeat your totally different vision and product. Can you explain it?
Although step-and-repeat backdrops are great, the term "Step & Repeat" refers to the process of people stepping in front of a backdrop wall to pose, repeating the same process repeatedly. The word "repeat" also comes from the repetitive use of logos and images printed on the banner. At our company, we offer custom step and repeat backdrops for all types of events. One unique option we offer is backdrops representing our Holy City, which is a popular choice for corporate events. We can also print photos during your event and provide a beautiful 5x7 photographic print. We take pride in producing high-quality products and offer a unique option to pre-order a branded folder for your photos. Please request this special offer.
— Is your photography copyrighted?
As the team behind your photography and videography, we retain content ownership. However, you can use and share the photos and videos as you wish. This includes using them on your website or for marketing purposes. Please keep in mind that with ownership comes responsibility. As our client, you are prohibited from selling the photos or claiming them as your work. If you need to use the content for a third party, don't hesitate to contact us for permission. We are happy to help in any way we can.
— How long will it take you to furnish us with the photo gallery or video of our event?
We typically complete the editing process within a few weeks, although it could be quicker. Please ask if you have a specific deadline, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Our skilled editors take pride in their work and can significantly improve the quality of your photos and videos. Through retouching, we elevate your images to the next level with artistic toning and balancing. This process takes time, but it's worth it for the final product. Once editing is complete, you'll receive a password-protected gallery of selected photos from the shoot. You can easily share and download high-resolution images directly from the site. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us through our contact page. We're always happy to help. Thank you for considering our services.
